A major automobile manufacturer interested in keeping track of vehicles in a parking garage hired Q-Track to study the capabilities of Electromagnetic Ranging technology in and around parking garages. The Q-Team deployed to a local garage and set up 4 locators around the 160,000 square foot multi-level facility. Q-track conducted three accuracy tests: including tracking a person, a metal cart, and a vehicle. Markers were positioned around the facility and accuracy was measured as each subject passed through the marker. Q-Track was pleased to announce that the NFER tracking system was able to accurately track all three subjects to an accuracy of 1 foot RMS as shown in the attached video.
