SOFTWARE ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with a team of scientists to design antenna modeling software.

Implement antenna modeling software using M-Code (MATLAB).

Use genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, and other optimization techniques to improve antenna design.

Develop professional-looking data displays for in-house use and for inclusion in formal reports.

Develop the back end for Q-Track’s tracking software using C# and associated .NET technologies, like WCF and LINQ.

Give detailed reports about code written, including algorithm analysis.

CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS:

Holds a degree in Computer Science, Computer, Software, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Excels in mathematics, particularly real analysis, statistics, and numerical methods.

Writes clear and effective code using C# and other .NET technologies, including WCF and LINQ.

Has a deep knowledge of MATLAB and its libraries.

Communicates effectively, and produces exceptional technical reports.

Is a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
