Antenna/Electromagnetics Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Use software analysis tools like MATLAB to study theoretical models, analyze data and perform system simulations. Use antenna modeling software, particularly PMM and NEC, to analyze antennas and arrays.
  • Assist in the design, test, and assembly of various types of antennas, RF electronics, and wireless systems.
  • Use lab test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum and network analyzers, Q-meters, signal strength meters to analyze and experiment with electronic systems.


Summer 2010

RF Engineering Internship

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, test, and assembly of various types of antennas, RF electronics, and wireless systems.
  • Use lab test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum and network analyzers, Q-meters, signal strength meters to analyze and experiment with electronic systems.
  • Assemble (solder) prototypes with through-hole or surface mount components.
